Hi I'd like to know what you think of the price on this local MR2 for sale.
1993 non-turbo
130,000miles
automatic
body and paint is in excellent shape
no rust anywhere
well maintained per seller
1 owner(female)
runs and drives great
no major repairs done
no accidents
interior is in great shape too
price is firm at $6,200
kelly blue book/edmunds values it at $3,700 but from what I understand they don't consider that it's rare and sought-after.
is this lady asking way too much?
also I'm not looking to turbo/mod it but would maybe look into swapping in a 5-speed manual transmision in the future, is this a simple swap? does the rear differential need to be swapped also because of the gear ratios? how about installing a clutch pedal? etc. etc.
I've done an engine swap before (non MR2) replacing the factory engine and dropped a tranny for a clutch change but never changed an auto to a manual before and don't want it to get hairy, just want to know what I'll be getting into if I do at all.
also what do you think of the automatic MR2?
any comments are welcomed.
thx in advance

Um. no.
Automatic NA?
If you're a woman, who doesn't care about performance or anything sporty in your driving routine, buy it.
And $6,300?
Pass on this one.

It's a 93 which significantly increases it's value.
If it was manual and had lower miles (< 80K), I would say it would easily be worth $6,300.
If you truly want a manual, I would look for a manual.
