I'm trying to track down an electrical problem in my civic and after testing damn near everything I can I think my fusible link(s) in the ignition system might be blown, but I can't find the damn thing(s)! can someone help me out, where aproximately is/are the links located, and what do they look like? I figure it/they must be hidden in the plastic corrugated wire conduits somewhere but I don't want to open them all up to find out it's in a very easy to get at place... any help will be much appreciated :) thanks

Please dont tell me that you have a 12a or 13b rotary in your civic dx.

Um unlike mazdas to my knowlege we dont have fuseable links with the wire you connect. We just have fuses. Check the box on the right side of the engine compartment.

no I don't really have a wankel in my civic :p the torque would probably crumple the unibody like a tin can... I'm starting on a project car with a 1990 13B but that's a whole other forum...
anyway I've checked all my fuses in the engine compartment and under the dash, all are good; all battery and ground cables good except one that I replaced; Lights, starter, fuel system, etc all ok, but I don't have a spark... I've tested wiring to the distributor-good; the primary coil is good; I have no spark coming out of the coil (to the dist rotor), I'm trying to work with a haynes generic manual but it doesn't get too specific about the internals of the distributor so I'm not sure what to test next and any of the specs for it... the only thing I haven't checked yet is the ignitor module, I need to find that first and then find how to test it :banghead:
