auto trans help!!!!

99 cav, auto trans, when in drive going from 1st to 2nd, trans slips, engine revs high, when you let off gas it will finally go into 3rd or drive.. I have changed fluid and filter............ anybody have any sugges tions,,

Which transmission do you have? You may need a new modulator valve if you have the 4t60e. But I am unsure what tranny came in this car.
