The 1951 Ford F6 is rated as a 3 ton truck and a gross vehicle weight of 16,000 pounds. The curb weight is not specified on the vehicle ID plate.
The GVW or gross vehicle weight is the total of cab, chassis and total load. There are about 5 different wheel bases available for this truck starting at 110",134", 158" 176" and 194 "
The title will have the net vehicle weight- thats how they determine theplate fee. The tire size determines the gross load.
My guess is the F6 will weigh about 7,000 pounds depending on the type of bed such as a dump bed or flat stake bed.
Hope this helps.
