looked like a good race...it was a nice kill but dont u think the mach 1 missed a shift at the end or let off....but a win is a win

From what I've heard Machs run around a 13.3 in the 1/4. I don't know how fast they were going, but maybe he hit a rev limiter? From a standing start I'd say the mach would win.

well..im not sure how well the mach 1's do on the top end, but that sounded to me like where the srt pulled, so maybe the mach 1 didn't miss a shift, the srt's top end is just that much better???

Depends on who you talk to. Motor Trend had one run 13.2 bone stock, but I have heard that they can run slighty faster with a reallly good driver.

not familiar with mustangs whats the fastest out of the cobra, mach1, and bullet stock

There is no way that was a legit win, That had to be a ricer flyby. Think about it, the neon got the jump but the stang just pulled away from it after that. They were both in high gear. (Even if the stang had 4.10s they have a double overdrive tranny, the cars top end is not going to be affectd that bad. When two cars that are almost just as fast (After the stang pulled, they stayed even) are haulin ass down the road and get into high gear, one is not just going to all of a sudden just whip out ahead of each other.

Yeah the Mach 1 obviously won. They went long enough to establish that.

well this video is kinda like the turbo integra vs the viper alittle unclear......

some of you say the mach1 won and he let off in the end thats why the srt passed him up.......

so.....did the viper win and at the end he let off thats why the integra won???????.......

The MACH1 won I mean the SRT4 jumps first then the MACH1 slowly catches him and then continues to slowly pull more and more. Then the SRT4 just catches him and flys by like nothing...... So either the MACH1 let off the gas or the he ran out of room(unlikely).

So unless they were having a top-end race the MACH1 won.

That's weird. i guess some are just shitty while others are not. My friend had nitrous installed the first week he bought his, sprayed almost everyday for about 25,000 miles and never needed any parts to be replaced. Downside of that is he totaled it a couple weeks ago street racing, had to pay the tow truck driver $350 just to not tell the insurance company how he wrecked. The reeason the tow truck driver knew was because the reason he wrecked was because one of his slicks blew out going around 120mph. Doesnt look to pretty now.

If thats all the Neon has upgraded and the Mach I has 4.10 gears then yeah I'd say he let off, or ran out of top speed lol. Doesn't exactly tell you how far they went up in mph but it doesn't seem like they were going way over 100.

How long are these highway races supposed to last? I counted to 19 seconds from the beginning to where the srt "goes past him".

12 seconds of that the Mach 1 is ahead of the srt.
I'd say that's a win. If they were racing till... 160... or... higher then I guess we'll never know who won. :icon16:

please dont bring that up AGAIN... it was bad enough the first time, IMO on both vids, it doesnt really matter that much who won, it was a nice vid in spite of the fact who won. but just to throw my :2cents: in i'd say that the stang won in this vid
