MKIII Question

O.K. I have 2 questions.. 1st How do I remove the rear hatch lifts..ya know the things that lift the hatch...I need to replace them ..i have some on my other parts MKIII but dont know how to get em off.
2nd. How much trouble is it to make an N/A a TURBO. Is it worth it ...im sure it is ..but how much am i gonna go through to do it.
