This is the start of my FD3S, I pland on giving it a little bit of mods, exhaust, lip, skirts. And I plan on Painting it "Candy Apple" Red, not by buying but by making it. Here's some "progress" on it.

I started the seat and the seatbelts, good so far, but I am stuck on two things:
1-make them sit so it looks relaxed
2-how to cut the seatbelt holes on the seat.

Thats lookin' great man.You could drill holes then use small files to open up the seatbelt holes.Thats how I would do it.Maybe tiny drops of glue in th right places might help the seatbelts look better.Anyone else got any ideas?
krebs128
07-14-2004, 06:33 PM
use a dremel power drill to open the holes in the seat. you might find one laying around in your garage or a friend might have one. they're kinda expensive to buy.
the interior is coming along, looking real nice!!

Hello again, thank u for the wondeful comments, you guys are keeping me up to do this model, I have these rims, they are mugens, but I think they would look really nice on the RX-7, they look a tad bit like the Agle Minevas from Speed Star Wheel. Help me out on this one! the wheel has not yet been installed.

IMO, I really think you should've left the rims white, or atleast bronze. Chrome is just too...well tacky especially for Mugens. If you dull down the color alittle bit, they would definatly look way better, but thats my own opinion, its your model and you make it the way you like, but everything else on this model looks great.
