I just got a 2004 Galant looking for the advise if it would matter at all if I got 19" or 18" rims would there be a diff. and does any body no the Lug size as far as space as much info would be appreciated.

the lug size is the same as mine: 114.5 x 5
Get 18" if you must, though 17"s are the best for looks and driveability. The larger you go, the more uncomfortable your ride gets, trust me. Plus your tires are way more expensive the larger rims you have, and they wear out much quicker. Low pros also have the downside of breaking or scratching if your not extra careful.
As for fitment, mitsubishi's have huge wheel wells, i think you can easily fit 19s on a galant without scraping issues. i have 17" with thick 225/45/17s and they look like 15"s cuz the wheel well is crazy huge.
