Is this a good deal?

The junkyard has a Golf GTI i dont know the year, but the body is complete and in VERY good shape paint and starightness. The engone is also all there and it ran when he pulled it in 5 years ago.

So is it worth $400? I could probably talk him down.

What year? $400 isn't bad regardless, could make a great project.

Id have to guess its a 90s model. It was takin there because the guy bought it at the auction for 100 bucks...because it didnt run. So he replaced the fuel pump and drove it to the yard...and there it sits.
