I dunno what the deal is...the last few days my pics arent loading, or the page for my directory times out. It also took me several tries over the course of 3 days to get in and edit my webpage  I realize there are 22 bazillion users and high traffic times, but even at 3am I still couldn't get to my page or webspace within a reasonable time.
BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Ok I feel better now.
I will prob transfer pics, and other stuff on my own domain once my buddy gets that set up for me...but he's so busy with work and family it's not like I can just call and say..Hey can you get this going now?

I know there were problems with Hometown the other day. They should have been resolved to my knowledge.
Why dont you setup yur domain yourself. Its not that hard.

I tried my Hometown page this morning and all I get is the very top where it says AOL Hometown, etc...and I get a white screen for the page itself.
What all goes into setting up a domain? I don't have my own server, if that's it takes to set up a domain. I am still studying all this web stuff (mostly focusing on the design part right now). My friend is the one who is going to be hosting the domain and he is listed at the "technical contact" on my netsol account...whether that has anything to do with it is beyond me.

Is he hosting it off of a personal PC? If so, I would maybe look to go with a hosting company, it will be way more reliable. When I set up my domain, I went to the companies website that I was going to use, www.hostmatters.com found the plan I want to use, filled out the registration form with my information, put in the domain name I wanted, and submit it. They then sent me a email with all the info on how to get in, and manage my space, and told me that the domain name would be setup in 24 hours. Very easy to do. The people there rock, more so when they know you are from AF. I hit my bandwidth limit in 2 weeks. (10,000 MB transfer rate) the lady there bumped it up for me free of charge. :) Way cool.

As for this, I checked the system status, and the problem is still open.

0915 Members are unable to access their FTP space at KW FTP & KW Hometown. No ETR (304558)
So I guess they are still working on it. I filed a problem report for your site also.

No, he's not hosting it off of a personal PC. He has his own biz and servers, etc. He's giving me the "friendship deal" :) if ya know what I mean. He's very busy during the week and then has family to take care of, and it's not that important to bug him to death about it. It's only a matter of him getting it set up and then giving me access. We meet up with him about once a week but get so involved with other stuff I keep forgetting to ask....my bad.
