Recently while entering an onramp my car suddendly had this sudden burst of acceleration and my tires chirped when shifting from 3rd to 4th in an automatic. I was pushin the car hard accelerating and this sudden burst of acceleration came when under an overpass. This has never happened again. The only reason I can think of is that under the bridge there was colder air and when I hit that cold air the car accelerated faster. Has anyone heard of this before or had it happen to them? Let me know what you think. I have a factory intake with just a kandn filter.

well, i have certainly felt a difference in my prelude between being cold and being hot outside. but i dont' recall ever experiencing such an abrupt effect as you've explained it. but you could have a valid point i dont' know. so i'm not sure what to tell ya. try doing that again under the same bridge.
