custom turbo?

I heard a friend say that the engines in the eclipse gt and the 3000GT are very similar. He also said that the engine bay is relatively close to the same size. Would it be possible to modify the twin turbos on the 3000GT VR-4 to fit onto an eclipse gt?

nope. Your friend is wrong. Do a little bit or searching around on here, and you will find some more info on what you suggested.
