I would like to get some thoughts on the 'upgrade' programming of the pcm...I recently had mine done and it sucks. Feels like I've lost horses at the wheels...(2000 v6).

I have read at least one other person who mentioned that also. Loss of power. But now at least you can use 87 octane.
This is one reason why I'm shying away for the re-program and I'm just going to keep filling up with 89 octane to keep the Pinging away (and adding a bottle of chevron techron conc every 3k).

Holy crap...you can't use 87 in my engine!? I learn something new everyday. The engine feels better now that I've been running it a couple days. I swear that engine craves cold air and a lot of it. There is a big difference in performance if it's hot.

I just had mine reflashed 2 weeks ago. Didn't notice any power decrease, but I've only owned it for 7-6 weeks now so maybe I don't have enough experience with it :dunno:
