Replacing Distributor?

Ok my car is not starting right now. The car cranks but wont continue. I have replaced the fuel pump, ditributor cap and rotor but no luck. Can someone guide me how to replace a distributor. Also when you remove the rotor do you have to insert it the same way? By the way My car is 240sx 1995 :banghead: Thanks..

pull it out, put the plug wires back in, put it back in...i dont see other possible way to do it

I alway thought you have to get the #1 piston at TDC first before you can install the new distributor? Also I replaced the rotor and for got how it was positioned so I just put it back in but don't know if it was on the same angle is that OK?
