simple turbo question

i just was wondering if i get the greddy turbo kit for the d16 and relocate the battery will i be able to run the piping in the kit or will i need to get it all custom made. i already tried searching and i would like only serious responses please.

Ill let you know in two weeks. But as far as I know theres a couple things you have to do.

#1 relocate the battery or it can be moved at an angle which I plan on doing will see.

#2 Notch out the lower sub frame as the turbo will set low and hit the lower frame. Also you must reweld the area you notch cause it will crack if you dont. I have heard that pounding on it to make it work, this will work also but not for me.

#3 Be prepared to scratch your head a few times and wonder hows that going to fit.

#4 you will have to either take out the foam in your bumper or hog it out to make the piping fit in the front. Since most use body kit (again not for me, sleeper style for me) there is not foam for them to get in the way but stock bumper will have issuse.

Thats what I know from seeing one done but Ill be doing it the weekend of the july 24-25 and will have pics (huh GTA) maybe sooner if the passes smog next tuesday then its the 17th and 18th. Well what ever you got the point. HEHE

yea pics. ill be taking em while you do the work LOL.

nah, ill be helping, but yea. I will also be doing a greddy turbo kit on mine a lil while down the road, but i also plan to use a Greddy intercooler that i got with my kit. thats gonna real fun trying to figure out how to fit it :D
