i was just wounderin if anyone has had their bumpers molded on? and if so how much was it and how long was your car in the shop for? if anyone has any info let me know.. thanks!

time span, not sure. but $$, definitely a lot. what are you planning on to do, slapping on a wide bodykit? :sly:

Having the front bumper molded on is not a good idea...Is it with a fiberglass kit? What are you doing?

Like Hotcrew said...Its really not a good idea unless its gonna be a definate trailer queen. (cause if you crash its a pain to do bodywork) but if you still wanna do it, i saw some guys at the local shop just fill in the cracks with some bondo, im not too sure if that would work very good. for on a wide body kit they riveted it to the car then bondoed it and bolted the outer pieces to the outer fender like the inner fender plastic.

i have the blitz kit .. i was just wounderin if anyone has done it them self's .. i think i will try bondo like what was suggested.. is bondo really that strong where it won't crack? never really used it before...but im gonna look around and see if anyone else has any ideas.. i just love the way the car looks after everything is molded!!! Thanks for the idea's!. keep em flowin in!!!!! also if anyone has any good web pages that gives detals let me know!! thanks again

hey i did the back end of mine...go to my website link on my sig and go to projects and look for a link called clone wars and it will show you how to do it or give you a rough idea...Tell me if that helps
