4wd Light acting wierd

Let's see where to begin. I wrecked my 94 wrangler a few months back and cracked the transfer case. I went to a Jeep junk yard in Alabama and picked up a rebuilt transfer case. After I installed the rebuilt transfer case, I notice when I have the Jeep in 2 Wheel Hi the 4wd Light is on but when I put the Jeep in 4wheel drive, the light goes off. I didn't cut any of the wires that plug into the transfer case so there shouldn't be any reason wires may have gotten mixed up. Unless the plugs will plug in both ways. I think the transfer case I have came off of a 95 wrangler.

Any Idea's?
