Crushed 1g bovs have held boost levels much higher than 17 psi, and many people claim that 1g bovs hold more than 17 psi without being crushed. I would go with a trusted technique...

Actually, the "Gus Mod" is well proven, most poeple just dont know about it. My crushed BOV got Gus Modded years ago! There are many many ways to go about the control system for the changeover from fast release, to closed hard mode... If you are the tinkering type go for it, its a fun process and you will learn a good bit about pressure/vacuum/etc and how it related to our cars. If you just want a BOV that works and could care less about being a Guss-Modded-BOV-owning-badass, just get a tighter BOV. :lol: But like Joe says, crushing is proven and is good to about 25 psi for most people. The gus mod will work at even higher pressures.

You mean a Tial and MAFt/VPC/Standalone? ;) If you want to properly run a vented BOV that is, and this coming from someone that "improperly" ran a vented BOV for years. And then saw the light. :D

cool thanx guys, thanx 95 gsxracer, i have another 1g bov i will tinker with that 1 and try it out.
Oh and yes i love to tinker with my car and learn new ways of stuff
