A Little Help!

WHEN I BAUGHT MY REX LIKE A YEAR AGO I WANTED A PROJECT CAR RIGHT. SO I WENT AHEAD AND BAUGHT IT FOR $400. BUT THE PROBLEM I HAVE KNOW IS THIS THE PREVIOUS OWNER CUT THE HOLE TO PUT IN A SUN ROOF BUT NEVER FINISHED IT AND THERE I HAVE A REX WITH THIS BIG-O HOLE ON THE TOP. I PERSONALLY DONT LIKE SUROOFS FOR I WANT TO GET RID OF THAT HOLE SO MY QUESTION IF IF THERE A PLACE IN HERE WHERE TEY SELL JUST THAT TOP PART I NEED. CUZ I HAVE BEEN TO ALL KINDS OF JUNK YARDS HERE AND THERE LIKE NO REX'S ANYWHERE. SO A LITTLE HELP IS GREATLY APRECIATED. THANKS!! :smile:

and order the weather stripping rubber that outlines it, and buy a 1/4" piece of plexiglass from lowes or any other home improvement store and bolt it in. Just don't use rubber as a cushion to hold it up cuz it'll make it flex when water seeps in (it always will no matter what); instead, use some kind of plastic. Also, use good locking washers so it threads tight... the reason is because it will crack if overtightened. I have to do mine yet again. It's pretty weird looking from the outside but if you're creative you can make it look sharp. From the inside you have a nice clear view of the sky. At night time, chicks love it cuz they get wet at looking at the moon.

well i woudl just get a sunroof and fit it mate, its a lot easier , if not get a garage to do it
