has anyone heard of that restore stuff oil additive it is said to restore compression across all cyls.. is that true or will that gunk up my engine??

I had an 87 accord with 215,000 miles on it when I put the restore in it. I was only getting like 23 mpg before and I started getting 35 again after, the stuff really worked on my car, but it was in pretty bad shape. Not sure about the long term consequences of using the product

"consequences" what do you mean there should not be any right???

I don't know if there are any, I was just hinting that there might be if you put it in when you don't need it.
