Biggest Upsets!!!

this post is for all the people who have done a race that they knew they weren't supposed to win (sohc civic vs. corvette or that nature) but in the end pulled off a big upset, regardless of how it happend (missed a gear, spun to much off the line, motor blew)...post em here

When I race at my local track I always beat the 95-98 Mustang Gts 4.6 liter automatic transmission ones.

Im not supposed to beat them, but they are the Best races, I pull half a car at the end of the track and they are always upset. A 1.6 NA engine fu*ked their 4.6 V8 engine.

Yup - the biggest factor in any race. I've lost a few because I missed a shift or bogged off the line. Once was to a Metro :grinno: (In my Shadow - not one of the VR4s)

1-all motor SE-R I/H/E beat a WRX Turbo with Exhaust...jumped off the line before me but passed him in third.
2-SE-R with stock turbo motor swap beat a monte carlo with 150 shot and head work and exhaust and other work....got him out the hole and pulled on him even more
3. Se-r Turbo motor( GTi-R) swap @ 15psi beat a Zo6 vette with some work. here is the thing we ran at the track heads up. i had a better reaction time and drove well to the end he ran 12.44 and i beat him with a 12.80. i crossed the line first and the time slip said i won. i had .510 reaction time to his .880.

Well a Civic really isn't supposed to beat anything so when I put buslengths on all the V6 sedans around here I guess they're pretty confused..

Spend $4,000 on your car and you could probably beat a lot of things on the road too :)

I beat a 360 modena. You ask how? He wasn't racing me. Isn't it kinda dumb to talk about the races we win cause somebody screwed up?

biggest upset...none really, don't get too many good races up here. did beat my buddy's s2k w/ my itr, thats about the only one that sticks out in my mind.

true but if you were Racing someone knowingly for some money or something, but u really didnt "expect" to win, it was more or less your pride on the line and u beat that person because they a missed gear or launched to high, would u say man im not taking the money because you screwed up...

Where im from A W IS A W, as long as theres no dirty play involved, so if i win cause u cant drive better than me or i upset you because u screwed up behind the wheel is still my win

probabley when I beat a 95 single turbo supra by 1 1/2 car lengths due to his sorry driving spinning too much at the diggs and bouncing of his rev limiter....amateurs..............jezzzzz
