30 Ft railroad jump

I was headed towards my house, coming back from my girlfriends house. I had just been in a big fight with her and everything ended the way I didnt want it to...we didnt break up or anything but I was super pissed.
Theres a railroad that I always cross coming back from her house, the railroad is over the street level so when you cross it you have to slow down and go up a little hill cross the railroad and go down. I usually go around 20 mph. This time I was very pissed and I didnt give a shit so I went head on at 70 mph.
I literally Flew.
I jumped at least 1 meter from the floor, which is about 3ft. And around 30 ft long. I hit the road and kept on going, to my surprise a police man saw me jump, a securiy police man not a traffic cop, they stopped me. And once they asked me.
Are you crazy? You can kill somebody. (Second time a police man says those words) I talked to him and he said he wouldnt call a traffic cop, he let me go.
When I arrived home, my front fascia (bumper) was dislocated, but not damaged, so I just pushed it in. My engine has a noise now, dont know what it is, not loud but I can notice it. I talked to a friend and he said a friend of his jumped in his Stratus a month ago on the same railroad thing and he broke his carter, the oil pan and his engine died.
Inmature, crazy, stupid, "you can kill innocent people" are not welcome, I know ALL THAT, and your comments aint changing how I am, or how I drive.
At least I didnt do it driving drunk.
Peace.

Ummm...The attitude is what is inmature and stupid.
The driving is crazy.
What I meant is that at least I didnt do it under the influence of alcohol. Its safer driving crazy and sober. Than crazy and drunk. Believe me.

sorry, but i gotta raise the :bs: flag...you would of bottomed out your car, damaging rims, suspension, possibly transmission, and would have done a lot more damage to your bumper if it was "dislocated". Trucks are more practical to jump and land without damage, and still its very uncommon to get that distance with as little damage as you claim. I say re-evaluate your distance then come back.
EDIT: not to mention to the damage done to your front end from hitting tracks of that angle at that speed.

Raise whatever you want Jet-Lee, I never lie man, never. Theres no point.
I didnt hit the tracks, I jumped over them and landed on the street. Dont talk about practicallity in jumping with trucks, Ive probably jumped higher in a truck than you will ever do...I used to have a Toyota 4x4 with roll bars and rancho suspension.

And about the damage, the lip got scratched from the bottom, and as you might know, the material can bend, so my bumper bended, dislocated but nothing happened to it. I just reatached it with my bare hands.

Look dude, I don't know where/how you've jumped trucks (or what kind of trucks), and visa versa, so I'll leave that alone.
I'm just statin that physics don't add up, but dude i wasn't there. Trajectory and angle of the road you landed on can make a world of difference. Readin back over it, I see the 1 meter high, that makes more sense with the little damage you sustained, as far as your engine goes, I have no clue, wish I could help ya. I'm still iffy on the 30 ft long though, mostly cuz you only got 3ft high. Not tryin to bash ya man, props for the air though.

It was probably about 20-25. you'd have to be doing about 100 to go 30. But that's still pretty nice; I have yet to jump a railroad track in my taurus.
wtf

Ill take pictures of the track that I jumped above upon request.
It was around 30 ft, maybe less, but going 70 mph and sustaining air for 1.5 seconds or so, you travel a lot of distance.
Peace.

now im not gunna get on ur case cuz ive been known to pull some crazy stuff too like passing people in parking lanes just before rear ending a parked car... But a kid from my school died jumping tracks, and serioulsy injured 3 passengers. flew over the tracks a lil sideways and when he landed it swerved off the road flipped twice and hit a tree...doesnt sound like much fun to me.
Only big difference is and this is a big difference...He was going 110 when he hit the tracks

1.5s ...at 70mph....30ft. NO WAY!!!! unless you had a very steep projection angle. if were in the air for 1.5sec at that speed you would have traveled almost 100 Feet depending on the angle. if you didnt go airbourne you would have traveled 154 feet. so something aint to real there. you probaly felt like you were in the air for that long and that high. but in actuality you probably just bearly got the wheels of the ground for a fraction of a sec but it felt that way because of inertia and the suspention probly just stretched out and then bottomed out enough to touch the bumper. seems like you girl got you real angry that you were even delusional

you would be surprised sometiems when you jump a car/truck. sometimes they dont nose dive and tear the front end up with a long jump, it just depends on what kind of an incline you are dealing with. there is a set of railroad tracks near my house that just happens to have a beautiful approach. back when i used to have a truck i jumped it at like 40 mph and came completely off the ground then smoothly landed all 4 wheels at nearly the same time. then on the other hand at a different railroad crossing in my town i watched an astro van land a jump and tear the front suspension apart resulting in both front tires being lodged in the backs of the wheel wells... you never know

I don't know some of you people are smoking, but when you're moving 30ft isn't a whole lot of distance. Here in my town (maybe upstate NY) in the DMV book it says you have to signal a turn 100ft before you take it, 100ft isn't sh*t even if you're only going 30mph; it comes up quick. I used to hit a 1ft bump on a road near my house at 40mph every day coming back from school in my POS Oldsmobile and land 9-10ft away after being in the air (that's probably why my rear struts broke thru the frame). So going 70mph and hitting a 1 meter jump is very plausible.
