I never used this feature until recently when a girl in my car was cold, I wasn't. So I thought it would be a great time to see if the climate control worked. It did, except backwards. Hot air came out on my side and cold air came out on hers. Anyone know why it would do that?

I don't know, but if girls are going to ride in your car, you have to get that fixed! Seriously, I haven't used that feature in my car either (it's actually a pain because I am used to a uniform temperature in my car and have to TURN both temp dials to make any adjustments).
I'll try it in my car sometime and see if mine does the same thing.

there are several 'things' that can cause this.
the most likely are:
a] a defective water valve
b] a " 'fresh' air door stepper motor on the
'heater' box, or a heater box thats actuallyfallen
apart where in mounts the stepper motor and
the motor's broken off the box.
c] contro; panel & unit are possible but less often.

Thanks for the info. It's probably last on my list of things to worry about. I can always just "suffer" and let the passenger be comfortable. The normal operation works fine.
