amp for dual 6 ohm subs

i just got 2 audiobahn alum12q's and they are dual 6 ohm with either 3 ohm or 12 ohm operation. i was wondering if anyone could recommend a good amp and setup for these. Thanks, Tony

they are 2000 watt max, 1000 watt rms

well, they're rated at 1000rms, but they're audiobahns, so I would send them about 3/4 of that to be on the safe side. You should wire the subs together in parallel/parallel to give you 1.5ohm, and then you can run something like a JBL 1200.1 to them and give 600 to each sub.

I always thought of JBL as the PRO sound people. check out the kicker SX1250.1 at Crutchfield

the Hifonics amps could also serve you well here probably the 1500 which would give you about the same as the JBL...Just another alternative

brutus 1500d would work, he'd get around 11-1200rms with that
