~* Updated 1949 Mercury Custom*~ Must See!!!!!!!!

Here is the car in primer. I made tailights out of piping, i cut off thin strip and then put putty around then and then shaped it. and i swaped the engine front the old flathead to the custom Chrysler 440.That is it i will wet sand it soon and then paint it Duplicolor: Black Cherry. That is it for now guys and keep those critisizms coming and the comments they are appreciated.Should i put the skirts on or not?

O yea lol i forgot to mention again that if ur not sure the top is chopped a scale 3 inches i'm not sure because i did the top chop all by eye i didnt mask it off.

OK, so give me some ideas for the car. IF ANYONE WANTS TO THROW IN IDEAS GO RIGHT AHEAD I CONT CARE. SUGGESTIONS ARE GOOD, GIVE ME SOME.

Here are some ideas, french the headlights. Im not really a fan of the squinty headlights. Side exhaust maybe?

Well i am goin to put some lake pipes on it that was my plan from the begginin , and the headlights are frenched.

I'm in the process of making bubble skirts for the car, i cant decide whether i shoul ddo them out of styrene or balsa wood, would do you guys think will be easiest?

I think you should leave it skirtless.

well i coulda made the chop lower but i liked it where it sat cuz it looked porportion to the car i had it sitting lower but i didnt like it cuz the rest of the car was too big and i woulda had to section it which i dont know how to do , so i left it ther where everything fit to the way i liked it, soo maybe on my next merc i will do more stuff right now i'm makin bubble skirt as i said and i'm puttin front fender flares on, and i'm in the proccess of makin my lake pipes for the side. i was just got chop it and do mead lights and tailight , i had to do sumthin for the sides so thats it like i said, cuz it look too plain,

If any of you guys have any ideas for the car feel free to post them i woiudl appreciate that very much.

yeah id dont know if im gonna have my shirts on or off i already blued but the glue suks lol doesnt stick to well thank for looking in to the caddy for my wuts the name of the hobby shop pm me or if u have aim my aim is smelmygreddy and yea i need to work on my spelling lol

pictures soon!! give me two more days and you'll get pics, its till not completed i'm finishing up on my skirts and my front fender flares. then all i have to do it smooth it all out prime it , wet sand it and start the painting process.

Alright, i just got the car in primer and i see somemistakes that will cause somesetbacks, but shyt happens, so im waiting for it to dry , and then ima start some more bondo and sanding , sorry i have no pics but i have no time for that righ tnow , im conentrating on gettin this thing doen and outta my way so ri can finish up my 50 ford, which in fact i go the front clip perfectly done , there isnt one flaw in my sanding.
