check engine light keeps going

I have a 96 ford aspire and the check engine light is on.Everyday it blinks and 4 outta 5 times its a different code that its blinking but the most consistant is the oxygen sensor...Is it common for it to do this and do you really think its the oxygen sensor or is something really wrong with it....

Have you tried replacing the O2 sensor? If you're getting the code for a bad o2 sensor, then your first step should be to replace the sensor and see if the light goes away.

ya thats what ive been thinking but i dont have the money right now...im just hoping that something worse isnt wrong.
