I won 20 bucks from predicting this upset (7:1 underdog) which was not really an upset for real (knowledgeable) boxing fans. The entire card (Gatti vs. Millett and (Forrest vs. Mosley) looked and turned out to be very interesting and as usual HBO did an outstanding job with the broadcast. These guys are all true gentlemen and are what boxing is all about, not the other stuff (TYSON) we commonly see on the news and ESPN. :)

alright, im glad someone posted about this. i wasnt going to because the majority of people dont like boxing i dont think. anyway, it was a great fight and Forrest did beat him pretty bad. (2nd round). speaking of the second round....daaaaaaammmmnnn......probably the purest knowdown, from straight punches, i have ever seen. it was nice...had there been 20 more seconds, the fight would have ended easily. ah well, stilll a good night for boxing....

Yup. He was saved by the bell and you are correct there are not many boxing fans on this forum but nationally boxing is still a huge sport despite the negative press it receives.

Mang that was a great night of boxing. Gatti just destroyed Millet. That's what he gets for thinking he could stand in front of Gatti and take his power shots. :D
And as for Mosley, I always thought that Roy Jones Jr was the best pound for pound fighter in the world. Yeah he might have that one defeat, but he only got it cause he was disqualified. He got the rematch and annihilated him in one round. But I wasn't dissapointed that Mosley lost. He just got flat out whooped!

Roy Jones would be the obvious choice because hes big and fast and sponcered by the best athlete in the world....(MJ)....but i think there are more out there that are far better than him when it comes to pure boxing. he fights next weekend, as you all know if you watched the fight on Sat. Watch him. then watch Hopkins...i bet you anything, Hopkins would beat him a match. and the truth is, we'll see it in a few months. the reason why they're on the same card on saturday is because they're building this fight up for June or July....im taking Hopkins too....
also, on a side note, Tyson is gonna pummell Lewis sooo bad....soooo very bad....its gonna be dirty...
