Probably lots.... question is if anything was left of the car...

Chances are a v8 conversion won't be a cheap affair. Consider the upgrades you'll need to make to the suspension, brakes, and cooling system. It might be a better idea to go with V6 bolt on performance, where you can add a little at a time as budget allows and still be able to drive your Fiero whenever you want.

The fierostore.com has some performance heads and a perf. rebuild kit. All you need thenm is some new forged rods and arp rod bolts and taht should get you about 200whp to about 225whp. Then you'll be ready for a 100 shot and then you'll have v8 performance with the v6 economy/reliability.

Inexpensive and small block conversion are mutually exclusive issues.

Open your wallet and look for $5K minimum if you do the work yourself.
