Navigation System

I own a 2003 Murano without the Navigation System.

I now would like to know if the factory Navigation System is available as an after market accessory.

Is it worth it or is there another system to consider?

Did you ever get an answer to this? I'm interested in the same thing, but haven't seen anything out there yet.

Thanks.

I ended up buying a Garmin Street Pilot for $1500.00
It sits nicely on the dashboard and plugs directly to the cig liter

I have had for about 4 months and it works great!

In addition, I can take it with me when I travel, Fly and rent a car. Or put it temporarily in my wifes car.

Check it out

Thanks. I actually just bought the Garmin 2620 for $1000 (on sale at Staples!), but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. How does your sit on the dash - the bean bag thing? Does it slide around at all?

Thanks.

My Garmin came with 2 mounts

One is a permanent with double face tape

and the second is the bean bag.(really works fine as a temporay application in a rental)

I take the bean bag with me when I fly and rent a car.

I had a 2003 Maxima with navigation. I traded it in for a 2005 Murano without navigation and I bought an aftermarket Navigation made by Cobra. I have to say that the Cobra navigation is 100 times better. It works where the Maxima factory navigation wouldn't. It's much easier to use and is just great. The best thing is that when I change cars in a few year, I get to take it with me. I got mine at http://www.autopartsway.com. Use coupon code 99OFF to save 10%. Coupon expires in 2 days. I tired this company 4 times and I was impressed each time. Quick service and the best prices you can find.
