is smoking bad?

my 85 supra is smoking a grey smoke out of the muffler, what wrong??????? im 16 and this is my second supra, but the first smoking one, i totalled my last one, so there is no swapping. I WANT THE SMOKE TO GO AWAY. is it a valve?
