Components in 97 CL

I'm trying to put Infinity components in the front of my mom's 2.2 CL - This is a strange question, I'm sure, but they came with a crossover, and I just want to make sure there's not some factory crossover hidden along in the dash, since the car does have separate tweeters.
I know the tweeters have a strange capacitor on them, which I am currently assuming to be their "solution" in the form of a bass-blocker, but I'm looking for anyone's KNOWLEDGEABLE input before I finish the wiring job.
Thanks,
CRX

a resistor can be used as a cost effective way to block some freq. but you also give up some volume, with a crossover you have more control of freq. slope and sometimes gain. factory crossovers are usually found on premium systems. unhook your tweet put on a full range speaker and run a tone sweep with a test cd, check for a smooth sweep, if you get a sudden loss or gain thats probably your factory crossover points
