Fuel pumps. There are two, both inside the tank. Also could be the filter...but I doubt it.

So i'm guessing its the pumps :car wont crank now: How hard are they to remove/replace?

Wont crank or won't start?
Could also be the coils, but I doubt that if it won't even start. I've never changed the pumps, so I can;t help there...

If you replace the pumps then you ahve to replace the REM, rear electronic module. I just went through this on a shutdown problem I was having. My car nerver threw a CEL though. The only symptom was that the car would spontaneously shutdown otherwise it ran fine. Can you get a scan tool to pull the obdII code(s)?
