Getting ready to do paint the calipers... again. Those who choose to paint theres what/who have you had success with. I used the VHT cherry red spray but only lasted a year. Not bad for D.C. driving.

What do you guys think of the brushed on stuff, ad inside SCC.

Going with the Axis metal master pads should I be stopped*hehe* and go w/ another metallic pad??

Thanks

try the "G2" caliper paint. supposed to be the best and the easiest.

edit: btw, do a search, i found the best price of around ~$40, i think it was at www.stylincompacts.com

also, the axxis i've heard are good and also if available for your car, try some EBC "greens"

I'm going to be painting my calipers (and a lot of suspension components as well) just as soon as the rain lets up. The kit i'm probably going to use can be found HERE (http://www.cacustomcoatings.com/brake_caliper_paint_kits.htm). It's only $30 and comes with paint, rust remover, and a wire brush to clean the caliper with. I don't know anyone who's tried this brand yet but it looks like a good product. It has the same temp rating as the "G2" paint but can be sprayed on instead of put on using an applicator like the G2.

You might consider this product as well.
