So. I'm a new member here, and yeah I know all the rules about posting worthless crap... etc. Hi everyone. :D
But I really posted this to see which car you guys think would be cool to get. Now I have an auto Teg, and am really aching for a standard. I am most likely going to pass this car down to my sibling and either get an RSX-S or a Prelude VTEC, preferrably SH. Which would you choose? The RSX-S year doesn't matter, but the Prelude I want the year 97+, preferrable 00-01. Help. :)

the RSX-s get my vote. Good performance matched to good looks and luxury.

I'll have the RSX, the Prelude is just too plain-Jane.

If you have the money to afford an RSX Type-S over a Prelude Type SH, get it.

really? you think the RSX looks better then a prelude? the rsx looks like a rice bun. its short and really tall, with a extremely high belt line. if i were to get that car, the first thing i would do is lower it by 2 inches, and then put some 18's on so that it will atleast looks like its better proportioned. ( like a stock prelude ). so in other words, i always thought a stock RSX is kinda very ugly. its as tall as a minivan.

The RSX looks better than the Prelude because the shape has just one consistent flow, whereas the Prelude takes the conservative three-box shape. add to that, the features of the design (Lights, bumpers etc) are far more creative than that of the Prelude, it makes the car look like more of a FIAT Coupe, as opposed to the Prelude that was closer to an Accord or Calibra in the styling department.

i prefer the prelude for looks, and i even prefer it for the power you can extract from an h22.
but stock for stock, the rsx s is going to be quicker...
i'd take the lude for the rarity of the car, but i'd rather have a base model, they take s/c's, turbo's, etc. much better

Tat and flylwsi make very good points regarding the prelude IMO, as far as looks and rarity. i dont' think the rsx is ugly at all, i just prefer the looks of the prelude. and the k20 does respond extremely well to mods compared to the h22. i think the h22 can be made to be the more powerful of the 2 but dollar for dollar, it takes more to get the same gains. i've seen dyno sheets of the k20 get 15+hp gain from just an intake, you're lucky to get 3 on the h22 with an intake.

i think the lude looks better (slimmly), but still, i'd go rsx-s.

no brainer... rsx, sitting inside one feels like ur in something much more exotic... it looks good and goes nice and the handling is very good for a FWD

Lude type SH, like TatII I think the RSX looks like a rice bun as well. It's too much of an egg shape, and I hate the crying styled headlights.
