I love electric superchargers

At least they claim to make less horsepower than a blower and they actually make 0.5 horsepower. But look at this website:

I didn't read the whole thing but from the picture its the same .5hp shit. Even if it was different and worked I wouldn't trust anything on ebay. I would keep the money in my pocket until there is some real test done by more trusted websites.

On some cars they could be a 2-3hp upgrade but they are not what the sellers claim and definetly not a supercharger. This is the only believable dyno test I've seen! http://www.vintagebus.com/howto/e-ram/

I tried one that I got from a friend on my 98 grand prix and with an autotab it only showed about .5hp when on.

Probably be better to get a leaf blower and hook it up :rofl:, come to think of it I have seen that somwhere online! More of a supercharger than a little fan... :rolleyes:

Don't knock the Leaf Charger until you've tried it. It just sucks when you run out of gas or the damned thing won't start.

those things arent superchargers and they dont make no boost... they swirl air before it goes in the engine.. makes swirling air/vortex.... it probably will increase power by .5-1hp.... offset by the pieces of plastic ur car will be munching and blasting thru ur manifold when it falls apart after a week....

But what about the "leaf charger"? That might work if it didn't melt! might make like 2-4 psi.... maybe?

I actually put a pressure guage on a leaf blower and it only makes about 2psi of boost. I put one on a car (an old subaru 1600) and it did help, but it looked so fucking ghetto it wasn't funny. It ran off of a belt from the crank. You wouldn't wanna see it. More duct tape there then I have ever seen.
