i need s10 extreme info

hey well im kinda looking for an s10 extreme. I was wondering what year they came out, and the available engines they came with. Also are there any usual problems that occur with these trucks? Any available information would be helpful. Im looking to trade or sell my 96 monte carlo which has a lot of stuff done to it. THANKS

It's X-Treme... They started in 96, engine wise no differnt than what's out today in regular s10's, sonomas, blazers, bravadas, etc..

I have an Xtreme, 2.2L 4 Cylinder Engine, i would get a 4.3L 6Cyl, my 4 doesnt have alot of power.
