They cant be that much different from another manual tranny but I would buy that one. Besides, is that thing even the same as the other t56s in the camaro and firebirds. Isnt it mounted at the rearend on the vettes?

if you choose to buy this tranny, make sure you have a good parts source for it. It looks good, but, it is in buckets, boxes and what have you. Unless you have extraordinary good luck as a rule, make sure you can get all the "little" items that might be missing.
Good Luck

Oh I meant to say that I wouldnt buy that one. Youd be better off just waiting for something that works I think. Im pretty sure that the tranny is at the rear of the vehicle on the corvette to help with weight distribution

look for an engine and tranny combo out of a 4th gen camaro, then sell the engine

I'm pretty sure the tranny is the same, Vette or Camaro, how could a Front Engine, RWD car have a tranny mounted in the back??? the Drivetrain is the same as in the Camaro, Firebirrd, GTO, etc. The driveshaft's might just be different. I mean, is the shift knob in the back of the car?

No they probably just run a rail type shifter. How do you think fwd cars have a manual shifter?? They arent under the hood of the car are they???
