i dig the purple. good job! the wheels could be wider, but i probably can't do much better than that!

how did you do the chrome trim so cleanly? any tips would be appreciated :icon16:

That looks bloody awesome. Have you used bare metal foil for the chrome?

Very slick paint job!
And I agree the chrome application looks flawless around the body and windows

How'd you get the chrome on the bumper and side mouldings so perfect. I always have problems with that.

Thanks for the comments guys, I did think of using 19" rims but the only set I had suitable were Bersaglio Spokes which Tonio had already used on his build - so went for the 18's instead (did think about using 19" Junction Scara lips but they didn't match the rims exactly and left a bit of a gap). As regards the chrome trim it was all done with Bare Metal Foil - I haven't got any real secrets except burnish it well down into the trim lines with a toothpick and always use a new/nearly new blade just using the weight of the knife to cut along the trim edge. It also helps if the kit has well defined lines around the trim for you to follow -sometimes running a scriber round the edge of the trim can be helpful. I guess it also comes with practice - I've built lots of lowriders & stuff that have loads of chrome trim.
Thanks again
Andy

Clean build as usual. Looks good. Wheels look kind of small, but OK. Maybe some Amistad V's would look good on there, or the Lowenharts. ;)
