noise condenser...wondering...

while back ago(about 2 months) i posted a tread about my noisy stock fuel pump. well it's still , even louder now, but it doesn't givin up on me.

my consern is this. besides the speed control sensor that i'm missing in my engine bay , i'm missing one of those noise condenser. it is located on the right side of the intake many(on the oposite of the TB) and it is conected to a single wire coming out of the end of the harness where the cam and crank sensors are. here is un image of what i'm missing:

now thay say "Their purpose is to help eliminate noise in the electrical system of the car".
can the missing condenser(capacitor like they call it) cause the noises that my fuel pump makes. my point is that ,i dont want to f..k with it ,put a new pump in and than having the same s..t going on again...u can hear it at idle loud, and now i noticed u can hear it outside of the car next to tank cap.

so could this condenser be such of a "trouble" or i shouldn't worry about it...

junkyard. probably cost 50 cents unless you just take it like certain mods would lol

yes. i went to the junkyard( like 1stGen suggested) and i find the same thing from 1G dsm 1.8 l eclipse. i put it on and now the noise is gone. i mean realy, i can barely hear the pump now.
so i guess that these condenser thing works overhall. well i'm glad that i didn't change the fuel pump. thanks 1stGen , i like goin to the junkyard but i never consider it for this litle thingy...

does it get louder when you accelerate?

no , that was the point.
before i fix it (put that condenser thing back on), after acceleration the noise would go away, and appears only at idle. thats what made me start thinking that it might not be the fuel pump itself.it was realy annoyng, there is a hole tread about it. thanks god its gone...
