yellow green tahoma 2
I just purchased one month ago a 1991 Buick LeSabre Custom in very good shape. Up until yesterday, the Air-Conditioning worked OK. Then about three days ago when I started up the engine, the a/c didn't work, not even a whirring sound...
Then I hit a bump, and the A/C came on! (Go figure!) :)
Yesterday, we drove 300 miles w/my Buick. On the return trip, the A/C was on, but not traveling upstate NY. We stopped at this restaurant and before I turned off the engine, I closed all A/C controls off. When I returned and started up the engine, turned the A/C controls ON, nothing happened!
Could it be a bad sensor or faulty connection that would make it this way? Or could the A/C compressor have gone out?
Thanks for any input you may have. Enjoy your July 4th holiday...

Check the blower relay and the purple wire connections to the relay and blower motor. Sounds like you have burnt connections making intermittant contact.
