putty info not found?

i need to know what the best/easiest type of putty to use is for a kit on one of my models. i was thinking tamiya quick type, would this be ok for kits. i just couldnt find any good straight facts anywhere.

i did check the faq and i did the search, theres just not a lot of solid facts on diff types of putty.

I like squadron, although some people here are hell-bent on tamiya products. I found that if you wet your putty tool, with a little bit of practice you can get it shaped however you want.
