I'm looking to purchase a new laptop, what would you guys recommend? It's for alot of things from gaming, browsing, schoolwork, and other stuff. My max ammount of $$ for it is $3500 w/ shipping. I will be using it on both wireless and non wireless networks, and will also use an external harddrive. I would shop for one my self, but looking for others peoples input

Ok no those comps are a waist of money I can build a better comp for half the price. The best cost effective way is to go with the DELL laptops, plus they provide you with the support you need. You can custom build them on the web page and mix and match what you want. Any heavy gamer knows the best way to go is with a desktop. Alienware comps are good but way to over priced. TechTV did a whole special on alienware vs dell and they were neck in neck for performance.
