Does anyone know how to read the ABS codes for a 1998 transport montana? Does it require a special tool or just grounding a pin and counting flashing dash lights?
Thanks
Thanks

Unhappily, flashing the codes worked with OBD1 system, which ended around 1995 on most cars. With OBD2, you really need a scan tool. Even with OBD1, codes were not all available through flashing, and would not all light the check engine.
OBD2 scan tools are easily available - check the net for that, there are several models between $120 and 200, some work with a portable computer (I like that) but some are specific, some have adapters and software for several types (GM, FOrd, Chrysler and imports are different). And new types - hopefully "universal" - are surfacing again so investing at this time might not prove to be a long term benifit.
mmm....SOrry this does not help you..
