South/East Coast meet

Hey whats up guys? Want to see how many people are interested in a south/east coast meet. I am from Huntsville, AL. so I am in the south and semi close to the east coast.

If we decide to have one in the south how does Panama City sound? Maybe Mobile?

Or if on the east coast somewhere in SC is probably a central location for the most of us. The Isle of Palms is a nice place to have one.

Either way I would be in for one (as soon as my pistons come in and I build the other motor so she runs again lol) Anyways....how about shooting for sometime in August? Well lets just see if we can get enough people before we set a date.

im in south Florida so everywhere is pretty far ... and im a broke high school student.
SC would sound good tho, its pretty much in the middle of the east coast ... i would defiantly try and make it out there.

Man, I'd like to have a east coast meet, but even SC is like 800 miles for me to drive. I don't have time to do anything like that except for in the winter.

Yeah SC is semi far from here, but its a central location. It's about 5 hours from here. What date would you guys think would be good? I'm thinking beginning to mid august. BluCivic might have the hook up so that would be awesome...save some people some $$$.

doug294

Basically just have some where everyone can meet at. Thats all you have to do...anything else is completely up to you.

I live in Upstate SC. I really don't know about hosting a meet though especially since there's only one peformance shop in this area that rips people off (myself included) and I'd hate to give them business. Closer to the beach sounds more applealing.

I'm down in Houston...

So I'm not sure if I qualify for this S/E coast Meet, but if its close enough this newb would sure as hell be there to learn a thing or two. More like learn a million, but hey, who's counting?

There are actually some sweet places in the SC upstate where I live. The dirt roads lead to some amazing waterfalls along the foothills trail, and the twisties are incredible... 180 drifts :eek7: ...but as far as showing and stuff, I can't think of any cool spots worthy of a 4g meet.

well there is a BIG meet for the south/east going down on August 1st. I don't know if it is too early for you all. I thought that I would put that out there. These are alot of guys from Honda-tech. They all came down here to Atlanta, GA. We had about 125 cars show up. Then we all traveled to Birmingham, AL last weekend. That one was destroyed because of rain, but about 50-60 cars showed up still from all over. SC, Kentuckey, TN, GA, and Missouri. This next one will be in Nashville, TN. I didn't go last year but they said about 150-200 cars showed up.

I know alot of people are opinonated about Honda-tech but these south/east meets this year has been OFF THE CHAIN, especially the b-ham meet. Everyone stayed at the same hotel and on the same floor. I may go to the Nashville meet too.

Info can be found here:
http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=911111

After this TN meet, I think our next stop is in South Carolina, before the summer is over.

I'm near Greenville, SC (more like 20 miles from northern Ga). I guess I'm retarded but what's the "Tail of the Dragon"? Oh wait, isn't that the place where all the Civics go to while all the Supras and such hang out at the "Mouth of the Dragon"? :lol2:
