Has anybody ever though of takin' the V6's out of the accords and tryin' to stick 'em in a lude. Is it possible?

the engine is probably way too big, the costs outway the benefits.

that's why i was kinda thinkin' too. But that new V6 is puttin' out 240hp which is pretty nice FWD swap, or atleast i thought it might be. I've never heard of anyone takin' those 4 cylinder engines either. They're pushin' 200hp. What engine is it?

i've thought about the v6 also... but to beat the dead horse... it's not worth it. i was badly in need of a swap because i blew my motor - and the h22a is fine... in fact i drove my car today for the first time in over a year...

well...considering a 4 cylinder h22 makes more power....

(that is..if you're not talking about the newest accord v6 :uhoh: )

nah - 5th gen... had crappy h22a4 / ATTS combo - i swapped all that out and put a JDM H22A and H23 tranny combo

How is the h23 tranny treating you in terms of acceration??
7th gen accord v6s...what the heck is thier engine code J30?
I dont know how it would work, im not sure anyone has even attempted this! I bet it would be a good engine for a pure drag setup....Noone has really messed with the 7th gen accord v6/6spd that far yet.

its pretty good - havent gotten it through second gear yet though.... stupid brake calipers are grinding - gotta recompress, rebleed, and all that crap. :(

the engine is probably way too big, the costs outway the benefits. :iagree:

It might fit, but it would be tight. You would probably have to lose some of you luxuries. If you know what I mean. Plus, your asking for a lot more weight... More weight, Less SPEED :evillol: I would just go with the H22A.
