What size rims

Hey i just bought a 96' audi a4 i was wondering what the biggest size of rims i can fit on the car? i want 20's if they fit..and also if u have pictures of the rims on your audis can u post a picture so i can get some ideas of what looks good

and would a audi a4 1.8t 99-04 rim fit on a 96-98 2.8 a4???and if so is it to big??? , to wide??? or is the bolt patern diferent

any audi wheel from 96-04 should fit... 20s is pushing it.. I've seen it done, but it req'd some custom work.. 19s fit no problem though.

19's would be the biggest, but 18s would be the most practicle and have the widest selection

if you dont mind me asking why would you put 20's on an a4? this would greatly comprimise the handling, and audi is known for its great handling. 18 would be the biggest id go, but 19s will be the biggest that will fit w/o fabrication liked marked said.

answer is simple cause there 20's and its MY CAR so even though u might not put them that big i want them as big as i can get em..... im not using the car to go around a corner at 50 anyways so what do i care

on audi and most european cars keeping stock brakes is no big deal since most of the stock brakes are already very good, oh and with them 20's wachaut fer dem potholes

rock on buddy i competly agree. i hate all thes people putting on huge rims when the car has decent size ones all ready like he said that it would sacrifice the handeling it would also make you tourq go way down 20's no way
