About my car ?

I have a question ??? i just bought a 1992 mustang gt , and well i belive that the clutch cable is loose , i came to that conclusion that it was that because i have to slam it into reverse , and its hard to shift gears , well my question is i have like a trick flow intake cold air induction with k&n , and all sorts of other mods ... well to make a long story short , i try to race "even tho i cant "slam" it into 2 nd and 3 rd because of the clutch cable ... i drive regularly , but get this .... when i "get onit " i just spin out all the way threw 1st , and loose all sorts of traction and cant get any kinda grip , i have new tires !!! but its weird because i had a 1994 mustang gt before and i can actually "race" in it but with this 1992 , i cant really race in it , it feels like it has alot of horsepower , but i dont like it because i cant really race in it because it feels like i need like stree slicks or like less horse power if anyone cant relate , then please let me know thanks

Are both tires spinning or just one? Sounds like your posi in the 92 might be bad and thats why it feels so much faster.
It could also be that the 94 was heavier, and obviously slower so thats the reason you notice such a difference.

Well , yes i belive that both tires are spinning because when i burn all the way threw first i have posi-track , i see both burn marks . But what gets me is the fact that from what people told me i never heard it to be the rear end ? but that could be a suggestion , im just wanting to get the most out of my 92 with minimal uncircumstances .... i drove it today and well i was hitting like almost 75 and all of a sudden the stick shift was rattling pretty hard , i was like WTF , as i recessed in speed it went away , but im thinking something is about to go out soon ... i just dont know what .
