Brake Booster

What's up everyone, I'm new here. Hopefully this EF forum is a little more livly then the one at civichatchback.com, it's always dead. But does anyone know of a bigger brake booster I could use? I already have a rear disc conversion and cross drilled front rotors. I want a firmer peddle. Thanks

If you want a firmer brake pedal, try going with stainless steel brake lines. there are a couple different companies that make them, and one of the ones i know of is Neuspeed. So try that out and that should give you a more firmer pedal.:D

Hey man welcome to the forums!
Good to see another Hybrid owner here, theres a few about, and its good for our knowledge base.
I believe some of the master cylinders and boosters from the 5g civics will fit, and possibly one from a 3g Accord might also fit.
But the standard m/c and booster should be enough, have you considered getting it reco'd along with replacing the brake lines?
10 years is about the limit of thier life span before general wear and tear begins to have a noticable negative effect. and I know that all our cars are now over 10yrs old!

I have all new brake lines, they were replaced when they did the rear disc conversion. I never thought about the booster just being old though, but the simplest or obvious solution is usually the best:D

The booster is probobly alright, but I can garuntee the Master Cylinder will be pretty worn. The seals will be going, and if the Fluid hasnt been changed regularly it will be pitted as well.
With integra discs, and new hoses you should a pretty high level of stopping power, certianly well above my cars limits. And I know my car will out brake most cars on the road.
So look at getting the M/C resleeved, or just get a new one, (often its actualy cheeper) and then look at maybe differnt pads.
