My clutch just went out on my 99 prelude and for right now i just need a stock cheap but quality clutch to get it fixed and i was wondering if exedy is a good brand to trust as far as quality, wear, decent perfromance, etc. I found a exedy clutch kit on ebay for $120 shipped. Let me know what you guys think, thanks.

I would rather have ACT or clutch net myself if you are doing alot of racing or hard driving. :2cents:

Exedy makes GREAT Clutches. They are very good for very cheap. I have been running an Exedy Clutch for about 20,000 miles now and I couldn't be happier. I am running the Exedy Organic. I have been running it on my Stock Civic Si motor but now I have an LS VTEC that is going to make around 200 Hp and a lot more torque then normal so I am curious how it is going to hold up.

Exedy makes good clutches, the one for $120 is a good OEM replacement clutch - great for everyday driving. I like my centerforce, ACT makes good stuff too. The harder a clutch grabs, the faster it wears.

I hear exedy's very good. I have a centerforce stage 2 myself though.

I have an Exedy Stage 1 on my 95 Integ RS. It was installed with a 7lbs Fidanza flywheel. You'll love shifting after it's installed.

i put an exedy stage 2 in my 00 si about 2 months ago and i love it. peddle feel is a little firmer but it grabs very hard, chirps 3rd gear.
