Can anyone help us with the setup and tuning with our crower cams we just installed in our 2001 acura integra automatice with the b18b1.. we have aem timing gears and was wondering if anyone knew where to set them for best performance all motor, we have nitrous on this car but we are wanting to set it for everyday all motor power and retard when racing with n2o.... it has full exhaust, intake. fuel regulator, underdrive pulleys, and crank pulley please help if you can
also can anyone tell me how much difference having my computer upgraded by jet on this car would help...??? thank you

What part# is on the cams? 62402,62402t,62403,62404,62405? Which set of cams do you have?
The JET ecu will be a waste of money. Find a local tuner that burns ecu maps and you will be set ;)

the cams are 62402-2 part number, and as of right now we see no increase in time or anything
in fact it is 5 tenths of a second slower right now
please help
thank you

To get the right settings you need to get the car on a dyno and use a wide band O2 sensor. Then the tuner can adjust the fuel and ignition maps to the proper points. This is the only way of properly tuning a car. The cams you have will not really show a huge increase anyway. I have the 62404's and they show a decent gain but as with any performance cams you need to bump up the CR because the longer duration decreases the dynamic compression ratio. Here is a link to a dynamic compression ratio calculator to possibly better help you see the effects afternarket cams have on the compression ratio. http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/comprAdvHD.htm

im thinking about getting the same crower 62402-2 Stage 1 cams. if tuned properly, there supposed to give an increase of 12 hp.
im not too familiar with this "dynamic compression" u r talking about whtteg, but i think im beginning to understand it a bit. i wont have enough cash to bump of my compression ratio, so the block will remain stock for a while. i also dont have any adjustable Cam gears, so would using the stock cam gears for now be fine? i dont want to put these cams in my car and all it will do is lower my hp output like what d_fl8ted1 is experiencing.
I also have an Apexi S-AFC, so i would be able to get my car dyno tuned once i have the cams in the car. so i wont really need a new remapped ECU, maybe something to move my rev limiter up to about 7.5K... dont wanna rev the stock block B18b too high now =)
so all in all, how much HP do u think these cams will really make on my car, with what i have done to it so far (check sig for mods)

thank you for the advice, i have the gtech on board dyno i have been going by to tune this car.. when we had the stock cams in the car we had the adjustable cam gears set all the way 20 degrees advanced and this car ran awesome, but the timing jumped on it and we replaced the cams when we had that fixed, now the cam gears are set at 10 degrees advanced intake and 4 degrees advanced exhaust and it seems responsive but it lost 5 tenths of a second.... we can build up compression right now either other then the nitrous we are already shooting so i dont know what to do now

i baught it for a real cheap price, i think it was about 15 or 20 bucks, and decided to put it in. no harm in doing so. once i graduate from college and start earn n some dough (instead of getting it from my moms. lol im spoiled), i'll slap on a turbo in my LS
